February 8th, 2008 at approx. 3:10 pm, my life changed forever. I found out I was approved by my insurance company for the lap band procedure. After struggling with my weight almost my entire life (I weighed the same as my teacher in 3rd grade!) I was overcome with joy knowing this could be my tool to permanent weight loss. Now, my surgery scheduled for February 29th, 2008 (leap year!) at 11:30 am. I'm so excited, so nervous, so THANKFUL!!
