Well I have good news and bad news.  My sarcoidosis has come back full blown so I'm back on steroids and a bunch of other medicines.  But to God be the glory I'm still loosing, down to 162.8.  I know victory is mine and this too shall pass.  It's just a little rough going through.  I KNOW MY DELIVERANCE IS ON THE WAY AND I CLAIM IT IN THE NAME OF JESUS!!!! All you guys be encourged and don't give up.  Be Blessed!!

THE WEIGHT IS STILL COMING OFF.            I'M REALLY ENJOYING LIFE, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME.  GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!    I'M STILL HAVING SOME PROBLEMS WITH MY LEGS (ARTHRITIS) AND MINOR ISSUES WITH THE HERNIA.....BUT OTHER THAN THAT....I'M GOOD.  I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THAT TAKEN CARE OF.  AND REALLY THAT'S NOT NOTHING COMPARED TO WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH IN THE PAST 10 YEARS OR SO.  I WENT OVER MY AUNTS ON SUNDAY AND I SAW MY COUSIN, WHOM I HAVEN'T  SEEN SINCE I HAD SURGERY.  SHE WAS REALLY SHOCKED.... SAYING SHE DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS ME.  IT REALLY FEELS GOOD TO GO OUT AND SEE PEOPLE THAT YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IN A WHILE AND THEY DON'T RECOGNIZE YOU.  I'M  MUCH MORE ACTIVE THAN I'VE BEEN IN YEARS.   AND IT IS ABSOLUTELY M-A-R-V-E-L-O-U-S!!!!!!!!      TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!  

TO ALL OUT THERE....KEEP YOUR HEAD UP, STAY ENCOURAGED, DON'T GIVE UP AND MOST OF ALL KEEP YOUR HAND IN GOD'S HAND AND EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT.  BE BLESSED!!!!!!  

I went to see Dr. K on Friday and all is well.  The weight is definitely coming off.  I can actually look pass my stomach and see my feet.   AND I CAN CROSS MY LEGS!!!!      I still have the hernia but it's not too bad.  THANK GOD!!!  Thanks to everyone for the words of encouragement and your prayers.   GOD IS GOOD!!!!  BE BLESSED!!!!

Hey OH family!  All is well on my end. I've gotten rid of all my size 20 & up.  So of course that meant I had to go shopping.  Not too much, but just enough to get by.  Majority of all my pants have elastic in the waist or are the Walmart's relaxed fit (which are very comfortable). The hardest thing for me right now is still the walking (due to arthritis).  I do what I can and I'm definitely exercising on a daily basis now.  I have so much energy    which is new for me.  I used to stay tired   all the time......but not anymore.  I just feel better overall.  So for those on the journey...dont give up....it's definitely worth it.  And for those that are post-op.....keep up the good work.  GOD BLESS!!!! 

Hey OH family!! Everything has been going pretty well with the hernia.  Not too much pain but still experiencing some nausea almost daily.  I have more energy and I'm able to walk more. I'm down to a size 18 but can also get in some 16.  

I just thank God daily  for a second chance at life. HALLELUJAH!!!!  Now I know I have the tools I need to succeed in all my future endeavors and I'm gonna hit them head on.  I'm sooooo happy nowadays and ever so grateful to all that have helped me to reach this point.  The Weightloss Clinic, Dr. Kuwada, Sherry and Tracy have been so helpful and understanding through all my questions and issues that I have faced. 
 
To my sister Angie, Tamika, Carmen, Bri, Yvonne,The Glovers, Jimmy, Olga, My church family, My OH family; I just want to say THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR  SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGING WORDS.  There were some days that were really hard and I would get a call, comment or just the right words that would help lift my spirit and make my day.

For those of you out there that are going through..... HOLD YOUR HEAD UP AND KEEP YOUR HAND IN GOD'S HAND AND IT EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT!!!!

AS MARVIN SAPP SAYS IN HIS SONG "NEVER WOULD HAVE MADE IT".  For those that know the song, you know what I'm talking about.  For those that don't know......you need to check it out.  Cause there were definitely some times when I thought I would loose my mind,  BUT I MADE IT.  HALLELUJAH!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!!   Whewwww I just start rejoicing whenever I hear, sing or think about that song.

Sorry it's been a while since I posted but it's been a little rough.    I've been in pain almost daily up til last week, due to a hernia that (my intestines which has a kink in it) is going through the hernia.  I went back to work yesterday and am trying to stay pain free with childrens motrin as needed for pain. So far I've lost a total of 41 lbs and I am definitely feeling the difference.

Hi OH family!!  I would like to thank everyone for their prayers for a successful surgery. Well it's been two weeks and one day since surgery.  Dr. Kuwada and Dr. V were great and I thank God for them.  Surgery went great, no problems at all.  It's the recovery part that's the problem.  I've been having spasms on a regular and all the protein I've tried makes me puke.   So if there are any suggestions for a good protein that won't make me puke.........I'm all ears.      Well gotta go I'll try to get back on when the spasms aren't kicking my but.  Take care & GOD BLESS!!

I've been on the liquid diet for a week now and at times it's been a lil rough.   Especially when I'm at work and I smell and see all the different foods.  But I stay prayerful that GOD gives me the strength and endurance to make it another week.  One week to go til surgery day.        I've been getting pretty anxious as the time draws near.  But I know I will be in the best of hands....1st GOD, Dr Kuwada and his staff and Mercy Hospital.  So I just give it all to GOD because HE made this all possible.  So stay encouraged my OH family.   BE BLESSED!!!!

Well I thought I was through with all the appointments.  Boy was I wrong, I have to do another visit to the nutrionist, have a bone density test,  go for the hospital visit and of course my pre-op visit.  So it's been a little hard trying to schedule everything without missing alot of time off work.  But  PRAISE BE TO GOD because it's all worked out.  So for those that are on the journey.... I pray for your strength and endurance because the journey isn't easy for everyone.  GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!

I called United Healthcare today and was told that I was APPROVED!   
It only took one week from when they received it last Friday.  HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!     THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!  My surgery is scheduled for March 10th.  I'm so excited...just can't wait to be on the loosing side.  I pray that I've lost the 20 lbs I was suppose to loose.
