Okay well I guess to start off with my name is Bobbye, I am 22 years old and From none other than TEXAS. I have been a bigger girl most all my life. My mother, my sister and I always had a hard time keeping our weight down. It wasn't until I got married 4 years ago that I started getting bigger and bigger. There was only one time in my life where I knew what it was like to feel small. I was 16 years old and had dental work done that wouldn't allow me to eat very well (expander) I lost 60lbs and that was it. When I met my husband 6 years ago I was weighing at 175 or so. I am now weighing at 256. That is alot of weight to gain in only 6 years. As of now my husband and I are stationed in Germany due to the ARMY. Over here in Germany they don't make you see a psych or anything so that is nice, but it does take forever for military paper work. My husband has to exstend here in Germany for 6 more months because my insurance required us to be here for 12 months after my surgery date. So now I have my first appt 3 hrs away from where I live on May 25th. I am so excited about everything. When I go the Dr. will do his thing and then give me my surgery date. I hear over here in Germany it is usually like a week after your first appt. I am not to sure how that all works in the states. So that is where I stand right now. As of today my BMI is 38 but because I have sleep apneia my insurance approved it, thank god. For now I look forward to May and hope that all goes well and I get to start my life like I should. My husband is my best friend and is 110% supporting me in this. For now that is my story. And I hope someday soon I have a new one to tell. Thanks for reading this...
