two together forever
My name is Jo Ann Muhlestein. My husband is Mick. We have been married 41 years. We have eight children, twenty-seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. We met in high school and have been together ever since.
My husband put himself through college on a gymnastics scholarship, so it has been hard for him to be heavy. He has also loved tennis. But his love right now is motorcycles.
We now live in West Valley City, Utah where we have a basement apartment, complete with all the amenities. Our daughter's family lives in the top part of the home even though it is our home. They really help us a lot doing the yardwork and things.
I love doing histories for people. I love scrapbooking. Like I said, my husband has a motorcycle and I used to ride it with him until he had an accident two years ago. I swore I would never ride it with him again. But I am starting to entertain the idea again. Maybe next spring after we are thinner. (even though we both rode it together fat. That was a sight.)
I am looking forward to being able to walk again. Walking is very hard for me because there is so much pressure on my legs and feet. We both have health issues that I hope will be imporved.
We have done Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus for several years now. We still want to do it but he will have to find a body suit to add the weight after he is thinner. He is so good with children and I love watching them respond to his cheer and mischief. He always has a twinkle in his eye. He tries to be macho on the motorcyle but everybody sees him as a big teddybear.
I was fortunate to be a stay at home mom while we were raising our children. I liked to bake bread, can fruits and vegetables, do yard work and just take care of my home and our children. I can't believe I had the energy that I did.
Glad to be on board and hope to do as well as others I have read about. Jo Ann
