Good MORNING and HAPPY HALLOWEEN (EARLY)- and a Happy ONE YEAR Re-birthday to you!!! I found this quote and just love it! When running up a hill, it’s alright to give up as many times as you wish – as long as your feet keep moving. By - Shoma Morita M.D. I can only imagine that your experience has been wonderful. Full of changes and new experiences. Congratulations to YOU!!! If you have an opportunity and/or haven’t already, please stop by and update your profile! We’d all love to know how well you’ve progressed!!! So, I turned in my hospital gown, IV pole, sexy paper slippers and gown as my Halloween costume for a totally (per my daughter) Skankerific Fire Chick costume - how about you? If you have a few moments, please take the time to send well wishes to your fellow “re-birthday” buddies!!! It’s a great boost to them as well as yourself. Have a FANTASTIC DAY! RNY 10/31/03 257/133 at GOAL!!!

When feeling blue or WHATEVER about your “slow” weight loss or a plateau, remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 103 pounds!!! Good luck!

Hi I just wanted to say that five pounds a week is good. Always remember that the slower the better.. I thought the same thing because I only lost 17.5 pounds an two weeks. I thought I would have lost at least 30 by now.. So I guess Im in your boat five a week.. And im still happy.. Love Sengretta

Margie - What to say that no one else has said before? H'mmmm - you rock girl! Seems that you have balls (bowling balls ;) ) You've made a decision to defeat morbid obesity and get your life back. Congratulations - it takes getting tired and fed-up to push forward in life. Each day will be easier but the first two weeks are the hardest - hang tough and let us know how you're doing. Before you know it you'll be walking those Irish roads and looking for some wee Irish lads to outrun. Best wishes. Carol
