Back on the wagon!! Contrave added to my regiment

Nov 03, 2018

The last 3 months have been a trip. I had a 6 week plateau and when I finally started losing weight again, I gave into the monsters in my head and ate and drank anything that fit in my mouth (especially snickerdoodles and diet Mt. Dew).  After another 6 weeks I was able to see my waistline growing and that was enough encouragement to get back on track.

I visited with my weight management doctor yesterday and I weighed in at the same amount as I did on August 1st.  On a good note, I didn’t log any gain, but the bad side is I had lost 3-4 lbs 6 weeks ago, and those were gained back, so I didn’t get that credit either.  We discussed the fact I started graduate school and I started eating the sametime I was preparing for midterms. I know I have a habit of binge eating when I’m under a great deal of stress in my life, and it’s going to be like that for the next 4 years.
