Turning the Corner

After waiting and waiting and waiting . . . Finally I got my letter from insurance approving my revision surgery. Then I got the call from the Doctor's office that they would be in touch in the next couple of weeks for scheduling the rest of the testing and appointments. Got the call this morning. Going for testing and surgery evaluation on December 8 and 9 and after that they will set up the surgery date. What a long drawn out mess this is. But, it looks like at the entrance to the tunnel and there is a little speck of light at the other end. I know it will be a long walk but some day I'm going to be at the other end of the tunnel and really never want to see the entrance of the tunnel again. My life has been on hold for the past 2 years, jumping through hoops and climbing up obstacles. I should be good at it by now but all I feel like is poked, prodded and so tired I wonder if its ever going to happen. Life is too short for this...oh well, i'm trying to keep a positive attitude.
