I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have two boys. I am THE baseball mom, traveling with my oldest and his tournament team. I've been struggling with my weight since my senior year in high school. I also suffer from fibromyalgia, which makes life difficult. I have finally found a good doctor who is working with me, so that I can be there for my kids and do things with them instead of watching from the sidelines. I was approved by Kaiser of Colorado on 12/12/12, had my first group class on 3/27/13, completed my Option Classes on 6/19/2013 and have surgeon consultation scheduled for 7/26/2013, surgery should be about a month after that and I CANNOT wait! In the meantime, I am working on making small changes, stocking up on necessary supplies (food scale, baby spoons, etc), trying out VSG friendly recipes on my family and researching, researching, researching!
