Christmas 2008 - 5 months out

Well it is just a day away from Christmas and... I survived without eating a cookie, piece of cake, candy or other sweet! I would have never thought I could have gotten through a Christmas without any of that, but I did, and I never missed a thing! :)I am one week back from Disney... my first trip there "thin" since I was in highschool! I must have walked about 800 miles (or so it felt like that many). Besides being BEAUTIFUL, it was the best experience. I never ONCE was out of breath. I just kept going and going and going. Just like the Energizer Bunny! LOL
My NY resolution is to work out more. I can't say that that has been one of my strongest traits of late, but I am going to do more come 1/1/09! I was blessed with the gift of this surgery and a new life and the least I can do is work out more.
