Well, I am 8 years out now.  I have maintained a 100 pound loss.  I have gained 20 pounds that I need to lose, but I am on my way to losing that.  Much has happened this year and I have been at hospitals with babies being born, which is such a blessing.  8 grandbabies and 2 great grands!!!  What blessings.  WLS has been such a blessing for me.  I am alive, more than ever.  At 57 I am so much more alive than I was at 48.   I love my life!!!  Thank you Lord for my life and my family.  

I celebrated my 5th year WLS anniversary on the 13th of this month.  What a great great 5 years.  I have a life...a wonderful life.  Thank you Jesus!!!!!  I have met so many awesome people due to having WLS, also.  Some have become life-long very close friends.  I have had so many mentors, also.  I appreciate every person. 

I have always wanted to lose the last 30 pounds, but evidently, they are stuck .  No matter, my life has changed radically and I thank God first, my family, Dr. Freeman, Tim, Joyce and the staff and everyone who has put up with me and loved me unconditionally.

I LOVE Y'ALL!!!!!!   

I spoke with Carnival this morning and they have extended the deadline to book for next year's cruise.  The deadline is now May 1, 2010.  If you want to go with us, please make sure to have your cabin booked by that date.  If you need any further information, please contact me at [email protected] and please put 2011 CRUISE in the subject line.  If I do not know who you are, I delete.  Also, some of the mail goes to my spam.  Thank you so much!!!!!  Come on now, let's go cruisin'!!!!

I have spoken with Carnival and will be calling them back tomorrow.  The assured me that they will move the deadline for the initial deposit to May 1.  I will post confirmation after I speak with Carnival.  I am looking forward to an awesome cruise next year with many of you on board.

We had such an awesome time this year.  Our group was small, but what a time we had.  I have to say that each and everyone on the cruise just blessed me to pieces.  I enjoyed myself so much, as I sincerely hope they did.  There were clitches, but everything did work out and the trip was great. 

I am already looking at the 5th annual WLS celebration cruise.  Watch for information in the next couple of weeks.  I know some have already asked about next year, so as soon as it is planned, I will post the information.

Oh WOW...only a month until we head down to Jacksonville.  I know I am ready.  I need me a few days of rest and relaxing.  I have no plans this time, but to rest and read.  If you missed this cruise, you have missed a good one.  The group going is an awesome group of people.  I wish some of you who could not make it, could have, but I understand.  Maybe next year.  Well...look out Bahamas...here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so sorry to those of you who have been told you cannot eat at the 5:00 seating.  John and I will be swapping with a couple and I believe that will take care of it.  Some have cancelled due to the way Carnival has done us this time.  I am going to continue this trip, but next year, we will not use Carnival or any cruiseline that they own. 

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have  caused anyone.  If you do not know what this is about, then your cruise is fine.  The ones who have had problems have already spoken with me.

I asked why they were treating us as they are this cruise.  We no longer have a vacation planner or anyone that can personally help me with the cruise.  We will be going on another cruise line after this cruise.  I am so sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause anyone.  The message is as follows:

Please make sure you have a passport.  I have been advised that passports will be necessary for anyone going to another country even on cruises.  I am sorry about this, but I just found out.
