2 Week liquid Pre-Op diet

Today begins the 2 week liquid diet that Dr. Brian Lane requires before surgery.  It's not going to be easy, but I know this is truly a new beginning.  My daughter is 2 1/2 and last night insisted that I lay down on the floor with her to play.  As I'm groaning my way down, I just thought "I can't wait until this is no longer a difficult, uncomfortable thing to do."  How sad is it that getting down on the floor is such an issue??  I run around kicking a ball with her in the back yard, we walk to the park and down by the river, but just getting on the stupid floor is difficult.  I'm so ready to not be so fat.
