well my beautiful & fabulous oh family on Saturday Dec 2, 2010 i weighed in at 402.6 pounds ugh:-(... so unhappy 
any hoo the Doctor wants me to be at or under 375lbs so i have to lose 27.6 lbs in 23 days!
oh wow is that even possible? 
all liquids for 22 days please send all the prayers up for me! I know i can do it i just gotta set my mind to it!.... im almost there people!!

WELL ALRIGHT MY OH FAMILY, I FINALLY HAVE A SURGERY DATE YEHHHH!
SET FOR JANUARY 28,2010!! TALK ABOUT EXCITED IM SO HAPPY! THEY STARTED ME ON MY PRE OP DIET ALREADY THEY WANT ME TO WEIGH UNDER 400LBS- SO I HAVE TO LOSE A FEW LBS B4 SURGERY!.. MY JOURNEY STARTS RIGHT NOW THANKS 2ALL 4THE SUPPORT!!! ..... LUV "Mookie!"

Hello my oh family... I attended my appeal meeting yesterday 12/18/09 so imagine my surprise when i recieved a letter from my insurance company today 12/19/09 that read i have been APPROVED for the surgery yaaah:-) im so HAPPY & EXCITED thanks for the prayers, support, & kind words!!! God is good all the time! i'll be talkin to you soon every body.
btw it pays big to NEVER GIVE UP!!...4ever The1&Only"Mookie!"

On November 2,2009 my paper work was submitted to my insurance company (Molina health care of Michigan) Unfortunately on November 25- i found out by phone i was denied:-( because the 12 month weight loss history that was submitted was not enough to meet their criteria to approve the surgery. OMG, talk about an emotional Thanksgiving! I was so hurt & disappointed . I thought i did everything right. I dotted every (i), crossed every (t) but i still received a denial . I have come too far to turn back now. so on November 30th, after a few days of feeling sorry for myself lol I decided to pull it together , call my insurance company & request an appeal (in person!) ....... Today (12/08/09) I received a letter from Molina stating my appointment for my appeal is set for December 18,2009 @ 12:30pm. they have 30 days from the day i requested the appeal to consider my appeal & make another decision... oh boy wish me luck!
