Grievance sent...now the waiting begins

I sent in my first grievance two weeks ago. Kaiser sent me a letter accepting the grievance and I contacted my caseworker (Esther) to make sure she got a detailed letter from my former PCP. I left several messages for Esther but she never returned my phone calls. When I finally reached her I made it clear that I wanted my case heard quickly and that I felt my case was strong. I also made it clear that if I was turned down, I'd be contacting the DMHC immediately so they could overturn their decision. She said my file was sent and would be reviewed by the board on Thursday (7-7 or Friday 7-8). I called several times Friday, left two or three messages, and didn't hear back. I'm hopeful that on Monday I'll learn the decision that the panel of doctors made. Fingers crossed!
