"Tuesday, June 26th - SURGERY DAY!. Dr. Wes Powell came in to see me before the surgery, and also visited with me 7 different times during my two-day stay at Huntington Hospital. He was absoutelty awsome. He really cares about his patients...rnJune 25, 2007-1 Day before surgery, Dr. Wes J. Powell is as wonderful as Dr. David Lourie...I'm gonna feel very comfortable with the change of surgeons. rnrn...UPDATE-I've had to change doctors due to circumstances beyound our control...I now have Dr. Wes J. Powell, I've not met him at this point, however, I've received fantastic reviews about his work and bedside manner. I'm now waiting till monday to get the news of the final conformation of the surgery date change with the hospital...rnWow! Dr.. Lourie, Is awsome, very knowledgable. He went over everything.. He emphasized before support groups and the aftercare program. He did advise of both the risks and the benefits of the surgery, and for me the benefits outweighed the risks. On a scale of one to 10, I'd give Dr. Lourie a 10+. He has a wonderful combination of both surgical competence and bedside manner...."
