Good morning to all my OH Fam!! I figured it was about time I updated my blog since it's been 2 months. Well, I am now 55 pounds down in almost 10 months. When I stepped on the scale this morning, it read 269!!
I tried my hardest to remember the last time I weighed 260 anything...BEATS ME!! I haven't had or needed a fill since I got the last one in December. So I still have 5.5cc's in my 10cc band. I hit slight stall after my last appointment in January. So between then and about the beginning of March I bounced between 272 and 276. However, over the past 12 days I have managed to shed 7 pounds so something is kicking in somewhere. I can't believe that I am 2 months away from my one year bandiversary!!
I could never imagine in my wildest dreams that I would lose 55 pounds in less than a year. Having lap band surgery was the best gift I could have ever given myself. I would do it over again in a heartbeat!! And I know the best is still yet to come. So to all the pre-ops and to those who are thinking about having the surgery, get ready for the ride of your life!!! To all my fellow post-ops, keep losing (or maintaining) and I will definitely do the same!!
