I am 41 years old and feel defeated with my ability to lose weight and keep it off. Twice I have lost 80 pounds and twice I have gained it back plus some. I used exercise and lots of appetite suppressants and accomplished my goals both times. However, the minute I stop the meds my stomach hurts and the only way to stop the hurting is to eat. I'm not talking about psychological pain either. I get cramps and feel like I'm going to throw up. If I can some how ignore the pain and lightheadedness my head starts hurting and will turn into a full blown migraine if I don't eat. The question is.... do I live on suppressants for the rest of my life and fry my liver or use bariatric surgery as a tool to help my efforts for long-term weight loss? I hope I am accepted into the program at Kaiser. I need help and this seems a logical solution. I hate my stomach!!!!
