"I LOVE Dr. Katz. I met him shortly after I went to an infromational seminar. He was one of the first doctors that i felt actually listened to what I was saying. He made me fell like I was the most important patient. He did not rush me, and took time to ensure that I had all my questions answered. When he answered my questions it was not as if he were reading a script. Down to earth, period.
Dr. Katz's office staff is supportive. They answer questions. and....wait for it...return phone calls. <gasp!> I know! I couldn't believe it when it happened the first time.
Dr. Katz program is ALL ABOUT after care. They have a well thought out program and insist that you participate with the after care program. This program is not just about your surgery date, but th weeks, months, years after.
Dr. Katz. did not sugar coat anything about the risks of the weight loss surgery. He stated his stats, and told of stories that people did not follow the letter and had complications. When I went to the Bariatric calss prior to surgery they reviwed the possible best case situations and the worst...and all inbetween. I feel I am very prepared for what will occur on my surgery date and the weeks following.
I Highly recommend Dr. Katz on my current experiences alone. My surgery date is less than 3 weeks away. I have a strong phobia about hospitals and surgery in general. Dr, Katz and his staff have ne as calm and prepared as I can be. I am very confident. I hope to update this review after my surgery.
Wow. Its 2 years later and all I can say is, HOW HAVE YOU NOT USED DR. KATZ.,!?!? He and his team are great. They ALWAYS respond to any question, and they follow up on my general care more than my own PCP! I can not tell you how great I feel these folks are. You will NOT regret this choice. I have many friends from all over this country that have had not half of the support and follow up that this group has provided me. Have I sung their praises enough? If not email me.
