Hello, my name is Maryanne and Ive recently decided gastric bypass is the right choice for me.  I'm 5'7 and weigh 260 lbs which gives me a BMI of 41.  Tomorrow I go to my Dr's for my 1st "official" weigh in.  My insurance requires a weigh in once a month for 6 months before they will consider covering the surgery.  I'm really exited about getting started.  Ive been overweight my whole life and tried everything to loose it and have been unsuccessful.  For the first time in my life I feel like there is hope.  I cant wait to be healthy!  I'm 27 and taking blood pressure medication, who wants that?  Healthy me, here I come.
