Waiting for approval

Dec 26, 2008 - I have been going through this process since 9/29.  I went to three different WLS seminars in September and finally made my appointment with my family physician to start the 6 month dieting documentation.  I have Aetna Insurance and they also have a 3 month 'multidisciplinary pre-surgery regimen'.  I am hoping to qualify for that. 

My surgeon's staff submitted my information to Aetna and I was denied.  I need to finish the 3 month or 6 month pre surguery documentation with my doctor.   The 3 months needs to be 90 days and the 6 months needs to be 180 days as explained by the Aetna representative.  So now I have to wait until after Jan 12th to appeal the decision after seeing my dietician one more time and my physician another couple of times. 

I am praying every day that my surgery gets approved!!!!
