"I did a lot of research about gastric bypass and surgeons before I decided to go this route. It took me 18 months to decide. The reviews of Dr. Enochs were very good and his reputation in this area is impeccable. I thought he was the surgeon I wanted, but when I met him at my first appointment, I was certain. He was very informative about the procedure and the associated risks and answered most of my questions before I could ask them. He was very thorough in the testing required before the procedure, but his office provided no feedback or follow-up when they hadn't received results from some of my tests or evaluations so be prepared to do your own follow-up. When it was time to schedule my surgery, Dr. Enochs took time to answer all of my husband's questions about the risks even though he had already done that for me. I had complications after surgery and Dr. Enochs and his PA, Brett, were very compassionate and shared all information about my condition with my family. They never made my family feel they were in a hurry to leave my room. They answered every question in detail.
Before surgery, I had a difficult time getting through to talk to people in the office. Messages would sometimes take 24 hours to be returned. However, after surgery, I never had to leave a message except after office hours. Those calls were returned by a PA within 15 minutes.
If I had to do this again, I wouldn't think of going to anyone but Dr. Enochs and I would definitely recommend him to my family, friends and others."
