• Well, here I am. I never thought I would consider weight loss surgery 10 years ago.
Yup. I was always over weight as a kid. My weight would go up and down like a toilet seat. I have joined WW numerous times, I'd loose 50lbs each time and then gain it back and then some. I am tired of obsessing over diets, counting points, counting carbs, etc. How is that normal? I want to live a normal life, be healthy, and happy.

I was 28 years old, 5'2, and 294.5lbs. when I had the Duodenal Switch with Dr. Lutrzykowski in Michigan on August 13, 2008. This was the best decision I have ever made for myself and I would do it a million times over and over again.  I have two young children 2 and 4 and I want to make sure I will be around for them for a long... long time...
