More proof that fate is sometimes on my side!

When I was college I answered an ad on a board at school for roommates for the summer. We signed a lease for the summer after talking about 15 minutes. It turned out to be a GREAT summer and we all got along great. At the end of the summer one of my roommates gave me a picture of the 3 of us with the saying "Proof that fate is sometimes on our side".
Today was one of those days. I found out that I got approved for insurance and hopefully will find out tomorrow my surgery date. YIPPEE! 
But I think even more exciting then that I have met this great new friend from this board. It is truly amazing how much we have in common. I think that God puts people in our lives for many reasons and that fate sometimes really is on my side! 
Insurance here I come!!

I am hoping that I hear back in the next week or two. I would love to be able to have surgery sometime early October.
Now more waiting...I am SO frickin' excited!!!!
Getting close...getting nervous

Well I am on my way...I have gotten all of my appts and labs out of the way. I am hoping to be submitted to insurance tomorrow or Monday! I can't believe that I am so close.
I am nervous that I am going to hit a bump in the road. You know, waiting for the other shoe to drop...but I have to hope that this is the path that I am supposed to be walking down and that everything will work out for the best!
