I had my first meeting with Dr. Verseman today. He was very warm and friendly and I felt he's very knowledgeable and had my health and best interest at heart. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and felt that I was a good candidate for the surgery. (Which I already knew :0))

His nurse Gwen was also very thorough however, she seems a bit overworked. There are times when I'm not exactly sure of the next steps I need to take before surgery and it seems like there should be someone else in the office to help patients with those types of questions. Overall, I was VERY pleased. I look forward to my visit with the dietician.

Today I had to attend a meeting on Gastric Bypass Surgery. I felt the meeting was very informative. There was some information I didn't know and I will definitely tell others about the class.
