6 month checkup...

Went for my 6 month checkup yesterday. Was down a total of 80 lbs since starting this journey!! My doc pretty much said "6 months, one fill, 80 lbs, no problems...you're a poster child!" I was so happy and I think he was pretty pleased, too.My two main battles right now are getting my exercise in and drinking all that water...I'm still trying to get that accomplished in a day! Hoping that w/spring upon us, I can get more motivated to walk daily. One of my friends from work had lapband about 6 weeks ago, so she and I are our own support group and trying to walk together on the days we have same schedule.
While doing some shopping this week, I found some capris I thought were cute and they were on clearance, but when I checked the tag, they were a size 26 and I thought, "Well, those are too BIG!" It was a nice moment for me!!!
I can't believe it's been 6 months already and that I have done so well. I'm so grateful to God everyday that He allowed me this opportunity and I'm going to continue to do my best to succeed.
