I've been accepted onto my surgeons waiting list...a huge relief! I received a call last week from bariatric admissions asking if i would consider having it done in a private hospital elsewhere in London...as they have other theatre spaces there. My notes are being sent and now I'm just waiting for the call / letter. Have a feeling it will be in the next 6 weeks. I'm excited and now also a bit nervous....I feel like I'm grieving already.
