Still a work in progress!

Apr 09, 2012

Soo I fig its been awhile and was feeling kind of down today so thought, let me get it out there and hope I feel better!

It is now April 9, 2012.. I am offically 31 yrs old and still struggling but hoping I am going to get through all that life keeps throwing at me.  I am still unemployed since Sept 7th 2011, and living one day at a time.  My weight seems to be the only thing that is moving forward, even though it is a slow forward.  Doing diet alone is not enough to make this weight melt away but my other health stuff is keeping me from the exercise.  I was diagnosed with RSD about 6 months ago... basically my nerves keep telling my body that a slight injury I had labor day weekend has not healed and my foot swells and is bruised like it happened yesterday.  I am in pain every min of every day and that keeps me from being able to move around like I WANT and NEED to.  How can I expect this weight to come off if walking up the stairs is a hassle?

Ok enough of the pity party... I just wanted to say that to all the bandsters and BOBsters out there, keep on reaching for your goals and you will over come the hurdles.  I dont know if there was a point to this blog, but I just needed to vent to the void out there :)

hugs!

First ever entry... more to follow :)

Sep 21, 2011

Had RNY about 8 years ago at a starting weight of 350lbs and lost a total of 50lbs. Fell into a spiral of old habits.... totally my fault.  Weight moved up and down back into the 3's.... lost all control and self worth.

Took my life back into my own hands and decided to have Band over Bypass to save my life and start fresh at 30!!

Had BOB on May 23rd at 296 lbs....and here we are today at 271lbs 4 months post op with no fills YET.

Can't wait for the rest of the good things to come...
