approaching 75 lbs gone!! hitting onederland!!

Oct 19, 2010

this has been the best 4.5 months of my life :) I couldn't ask for anything more...ok i know a few more lbs but it has been simply amazing. Our family went on a cruise a few weeks ago and to "celebrate" my loss I went down BOTH waterslides!!! something I wouldn't normally do but it was fun!! I also got a new flattering bathing suit and I made sure to wear clothes that were flattering, and during the cruise I lost 3 lbs so that was good news too. I am loving my RNY and waiting to see what the next year holds in store for me

approaching 65 lbs gone...

Sep 08, 2010

That means I will have lost more than what I need to loose to be at goal!! how exciting!! I haven't weighed this much in over 2 1/2 years and I am def. luvvvin my RNY! This month couldn't be any better...moving this weekend, a wedding next weekend which my hubby is best man in! and then a 7 days cruise!!!! I plan to loose weight on it too, hope I will be below 200 rather right before the cruise or definatly when I come back, that would be awesome!! I am very excited about their GYM and sauna rooms when usually I would be more excited over the food and drinks. This whole experience has been such a life changing one and one that I wouldn't ever change.  Just this past weekend we went down to my husband's grandparents and usually I would always come back gaining atleast 5 lbs but came back loosing 2! until next time fellow losers!!

just pondering thoughts..

Jul 12, 2010

As I sit here a month and half out and just look back at all the experiences I have had so far, it makes me feel thankful for gastric bypass.... I am now into a comfy size 18 clothes, when before a 22 was almost tooo tight! I am looking forward for the next year, instead of dreading. Some of the things I really need to work on though are my liquid calories and eating to much or to fast... ohh that can make u NEVER want food again and prob never even think about food again! haha I am making myself a promise TODAY to really stop when I feel full..that the extra bite doesn't really need to go in my mouth! and to start limiting my liquid calories to only 2-4 oz a day...I am not going to sabatoge this any longer and I don't want these first 6 months to go by and to have tons of regrets afterwards! ...live as if there is no tomorrow and live with no regrets!!  luvin my RNY!

Jun 16, 2010

1. How much I really DID eat
2. That the first 2 weeks are the worst
3. Chew, chew, chew!!
4. I need to always be focused, and to do this blog as much as possible
5. loosing weight is the greatest feeling in the world
6. I wish I would have done this instead of lap-band
7. I ONLY NEED TO WEIGH ONCE A WEEK! all other days just enjoy the loose fitting clothes!
8. Food does not control ME for a change :)
9. Sip, Sip, Sip!!!
10. Walk, walk, walk!!!

LOL wow I have really learnt alot these past 3 weeks, and I do not regret the surgery once bit!

just pondering on my day 2 liquid diet...

May 12, 2010

As I sit here today...day 2 of of my liquid diet :) I almost cannot keep inside how excited I am to know in less than 2 weeks I will be on my way to the loosing side...and not to mention the skinny side!!! My weight loss journey has been alot of ups and downs...iv'e never been a "normal" weight or even just "overweight" my whole life...iv'e always been obese or morbidly obese. Starting 6th grade I weighed 200 lbs and was in a size 20..I had the lapband done on my 18th birthday and went from 275 down to 195 but NEVER got below that, then had to have my band removed and of coarse gained it back ... I just cannot wait to be able to go clothes shopping and think "wow this looks great" instead of "wow this really shows how much bigger my belly is than my butt" or to be able to go just anywhere! to an amusement park, to a concert, just anywhere I please without worrying about all the prettier/skinnier people there, what to wear, if I can fit into a ride, and to be able to not worry about anything but having a good time. I have waited a long time for this day and it just seems to not get here fast enough! ...till next time!!
