Hi Nikki, I am new to OH and just this minute found this Ca part. I am so addicted to this site and all the stories, questions, and info. I am finding it so encouraging. I live in Poway and I too have Kaiser. I feel really bad that you are in a negative class because our class is not like that at all. Our class started on Aug. 24 and our teacher is so great. The chemistry between all of us is great too. I wonder if you could request to transfer to another class. Do you by any chance have a male teacher? I have heard there is a man there that tries to talk you out of the surgery. I don't know why he is still there, but I have only good experiences with Kaiser with the whole WLS thing. I don't think you'll need your lawyer anymore. As far as I know, once you start the class you are in. It sounds like you have had a long hard road. I'm so sorry, that sucks! I might check with Nina Lott and see if you could switch classes if it's that bad because I love the fact that Kaiser has this program that teaches you so much. I'm also learning a whole lot here at OH. Our class is great and we are about a week behind you, we meet on Thursday nights 7-8:30. I wish you the best of luck with your journey, I think it will be alot easier now that you have Kaiser.
