ONE MONTH TO GO!

Hi All,I haven't been on here is quite a while and tonight it occurred to me that just one month from today I will be having my surgery (actually, this time next month I will be POST OP!!!). As the day gets closer I feel my self getting a bit more anxious, but I know deep down that WLS is the best option for me. I'm so tired of being FAT! I look at my clothes and I say "In a few months, these pants will be too big for me. In a few months, these sweaters will be too big for me" and I get this huge smile on my face.
I finally told my youngest son what I'm planning. At first he was very worried...asked if I had done research on the subject. :-) I assured him I had and so had his dad. After discussing the pre-op prep, operation and post op lifestyle, he is behind me 100%. But I still haven't told my mother. The longer I wait, the more I think I've done the proper thing. I don't want her to worry. She's 85 years old and has many health issues herself. she doesn't need one more thing to worry about. Once I'm out of surgery I will call her and let her know. At first she'll probably be a bit angry that I didn't let her know sooner, but she's very forgiving.
This Tuesday I have my meeting with Lisa and Maryellen and a week later with Dr. Peters. Time just flew right by. Incredible.
I'll post a full length "before" picture as soon as I can.
