Where is Summer?

Hey everyone! Just wanted to check-in, it's been quite a while since I posted. My honey just left from his R&R last week. What a great 2 weeks we had. We stayed busy and put just about 1,000 miles on the Harley! Every sunny moment there was, we were riding! I will try to post some pictures here soon. I hated to see him go. This time around is hitting me quite hard. His contract ends 31 Oct 2009 and he signed up for another, yes ANOTHER year through 31 Oct 2010!! However, looking at the brighter picture, I got my engagement ring this time!! It took over 5 years, so I am not pushing a ceremony right away. (Maybe that is why he is staying another year...lol). I was very happy with that!I have been able to loose almost 12 pounds since March. I have about 12 more to go to get to my goal. I am not pushing it, I am happy where I am and every day I still have wow moments or get compliments or just feel damn good! When people ask, I tell them I would do it all again in a heartbeat!
Well, hopefully summer will eventually get here. The high for the next few days are 68 here...ugh!! Good thing we packed heavier clothes for my son at camp this week...geesh!!
