I am employed by the State of Louisiana in the Louisiana State Police Gaming Enforcement Division. I am a civilian, so no gun or handcuffs. I am an Auditor which audits the Casino's here. I have a BS Degree in Accounting.
When I started researching for WLS (Lapband) I did alot of searching here in La. and I found my surgeron from Covington, LA.
Dr. Thomas Lavin in my opinion is the best surgeon that I have found for me. I have to have my gallbladder removed so I decided to have him do it.
I weighed 358 pounds when I started my research and I have High Blood Pressure, a diabetic and sleep apena.
My primary care physician was behind me all the way.
I weigh around 278 now, and all my problems are gone.
I was banded in October 2004. Because my sisters told my wife that I needed to have it done to continue living and they would not tell me, but they went through my wife. My 2 sisters only have one big brother and my family rely's on me for alot of things.
