Here's a little about me. Living in Berwick, NS, Canada. I am a 37 year old mother to a beautiful daughter. She will be sweet sixteen soon. (helppppp)..LOL! I work in Palliative Care on the nursing team and enjoy it! Well, to a certain extent. I have been over weight pretty well ever since puberty. I started gaining the weight then. At 16 I started TOPS and after that I was on every diet A to Z ending at trying Weight Watchers for many years! After having my daughter at 22, I would put on about 10 pounds a year. First time my MD mentioned bariactic surgery, I said NOOO!, I can do it on my own. What a mistake, or was it. It would of been a RNY and I think it was a God send that I wait longer. I asked a few years later and he approved and sent the letter of to the surgeon. After a long process of waiting here in Canada, I was suppose to be sleeved on May 28, 2008 was all set, had people come to make sure everything ran ok at home and the call came. We need to cancel! but, it was for two cancer patients, so I wasn't too upset. So, my next date was for June 02, 2008! and it went through!!! I AM SLEEVED!!!
