On my way.....

So it has been a month I think since my last posting so I guess I should update. I have lost 43lbs since surgery that was seven weeks ago tomorrow. I got back into my jeans that I have not been able to wear for the past 2 years!!!! I am so excited about that. Things are looking up finally...

I have started a weight war with my baby brother. Well, not baby, he is 3 years younger than me though. I am 4lbs away from being even with him in weight. I tell him everyday how close I am getting so he decided to go on a diet...lol. It's personal now! All in good fun of coarse. I love my brother dearly and he is happy that I am doing so well with my loss. He can lose it without the surgery if he stays committed to a plan but he is like me, we fall off for a while. We are both hoping that this war it will be a more perminate thing for both of us.

I feel better about myself and the way I am starting to transform into a healthier me. I have never been able to say that I like myself and what I look like. I was content with myself but not happy about it. Now every time I get off that scale, I scream and jump for joy at the number on it. I am proud of myself and grateful to my parents for giving my this chance. If it wasn't for them, I would not have had the surgery and I would be dieing more each day. I am very lucky to have the family I have. The support is unreal. I knew they would stand behind me but what they have done was unexpected and very appreciated. I'll go into that later though.

So that is it for now. Hope everyone is doing good with their own goals and I will talk to you all again later.
