Got another well needed fill 1/2 cc yesterday.  Told now I have 7ccs in my 11cc band.  Hoping it helps.

Had a well needed fill on July 2.  It's been a long time since my last fill in March.  Didn't have one since I was scheduled for my gallbladder/hernia surgery.  Now I got 1 cc added to my band, and  have restriction!    Almost forgot what it felt like.  Looking forward to losing more weight.  I had lost 5 lbs. since March.  Wasn't that tremendous, but it was a loss and I was on restricted duty from my hernia surgery until July 1.  Onward and downward!

Well, gallbladder's out and had some hernia repair done at the same time.  Off for a week or two and just relaxing and healing.     Looking forward to reading a good book on the porch and in beautiful weather! 

Having my surgery for gallbladder removal on May 19.  I saw another surgeon as my lapband surgeon does not do other sugeries at this time.  She is hoping that this surgery will be day surgery and laporopsic as well and also hoping no adhesions from lapband surgery interfere.  Crossing my fingers!

I had a gallbladder attack Easter Sunday evening.  Ended up in the ER, and after an ultrasound, was told I'd have to make arrangements to have it out sooner than later.  I was just banded January 28 and probably looking at another surgery in the near future.

Had my second fill (was on a waiting list) on Thursday.  2 more cc's and tada! I have restriction. I previously had gotten 2 cc's 3 weeks ago and never noticed a change.  I was eating everything.   I also noticed I lost 2 lbs. in the first 2 days after this fill.    My band's working!  Yeah!!!!   Looking forward to losing alot more!

Yes, I just got home this morning.  Banded yesterday.  Not a bad surgery.  Just a little sore at the port area and feel like I did stomach crunches.  Glad to be home.  The hospital was great, but it's not the place to sleep I've found out.  They get you up every 4 hours to walk and otherwise, between pressure checks and constant beeping of instruments, it's a noisy place.  The nurses couldn't be nicer.  Just doing their jobs.  Now the fun part.  Drinking and pulling out the full liquid phase diet to check to see what's allowed.  Two weeks of that, then on to mushies and then soft foods.  March 12 I'm scheduled for regular foods.   Right now I have no inkling for food, but I'm sure it's going to happen soon.  Just doing liquids right now, maybe some pudding later.  I know all you bandsters are hungry for info, so hope I helped.  Oh and another nicety, the girls at the bariatrics office sent me flowers while in the hospital and the hospital gives you a beautiful bath sheet towel.  Nice touch!

My date has changed to January 28.  No worries.   I waited all this time, one more week is no biggie.  Psyched!

I had my second meeting with Kristin and Greg.  More goals, like drinking before eating, chewing food to applesauce consistency, all good practices.  She penciled me in for January 20 for the surgery.  Now I have at least a "target" date.  The holidays are going to be interesting!  I can do it.  Need to stay positive and focused to lose the remaining lbs. I need to lose before surgery.  My next visit will be the preop meeting where I learn how I'll be eating before and after the surgery.  I've decided the lapband surgery is the way to go for me! 

So the only thing on my list to do is my second support meeting, which will be soon and to lose some weight.... doing pretty good so far.  I have a 3 month supervised weight management to get through, so exercising as well as watching what I eat.  I watched the live operation that was listed on the lapband forum ObesityHelp website.  So informative!!!
