Well, i  finally made by goal of 165 lbs!!  It feels good. I did not think I would ever see that number!! But God in His grace has gotten me there. I now can where the same size as my mother, which I have never done. The only problem is when I look in the mirror I see all the skin and still feel big at times. I know this will get better and it is slowly, we are such a NOW society and I need to be patient! yuck!!  I pray all is well with everyone!  Have a great week!! hugs to you all.

Hello to all!!!
  I have really been back about not keeping up. I am now 10 mths out and feeling great. I have stopped lossing hair and my Hair stylist say that my hair is back to growing fast and thick. Yea!!!  No other problems to speak of. I have lost 104 lbs now. I am fitting into size 16 jeans. that is 9 sizes down.  I was soo excited this weekend. I went to my Mommy's, My sister got married, and we went to Walmart I tried on 18 jeans and they were too big. So I had to go to the "other" side for jeans!!!  I was sooo excited. And at the wedding I got to see my Dad who I have not seen since last Christmas. My dad at one time Told me I was fat and ugly, but this visit He said I looked good. 
      I am soo happy with the choice I made to have the surgery. It was the best ever. I love my tool!!!  The other day My DH and I were walking around and saw a fluffly lady. My DH said that was the size I was before surgery. I find myself wanted to go and tell them about the wonderful Tool that God has allowed me to get.  I feel soo good about my self. This is a truely new feeling for me. I pray that all is well  with each of you. Have a great Christmas. you are loved.

Everything seems to still be going good. I have met a goal but was to excited to say it out loud. Scared it would back fire on me!  But know I think i can say it out loed.......I weigh less then my DH!!!!  I have NEVER in all our years together weighed less then him!!!  By 14 lbs!!!  YES!!!  we are in a race together. He has been doing very well on his diet!! he has lost 32 lbs. I am so proud of him. If anyone knows how hard it is, it's me!!  I tried clothes on yesterday and can get into a Xlarge..... I have not wore that since 10 grade and they were not tight! go pooki...go pooki!!!   I also got into a size 18 pair of jeans!!  they were TIGHT!!  but I got into them.  I still struggle with making not good choices, but I try not to beat myself up and take one minute at a time. I remind myself that my WLS is a tool NOT a quick fix. I have started losing my hair!!  I have stepped up eating protein. My Hairdresser says not to worry I have sooooo much hair it will be ok. I pray all is well  with each of you!!

Went shopping today and I was happy and surprised!!!  I am now wearing .............a size 20!!  I did not think I would EVER see that size again. This is 7 sizes down. I am 2 sizes from when I got married over 19 yrs ago. and 4 sizes from my mom!!  I have lost 66 lbs and still feel great. So far NO problems. Thank you once again Dr. Baker for everything. What a great tool. I still struggle with making Bad choices. I have gound some great sugar free chocolate at Walmart. Reeses cups and Dove. I allow myself 1-2 a day and it helps with the sweet tooth. I had my 3 month check up today!!  I have lost 56 lbs. Better yet..... I have lost 9 inches in my waist and 7 inches in my hips!!!   I still do not really see much change.  Sometimes I can see some loss. but I think that will change over time.  I do see some change by looking at my before pics and now pics. I feel a lot better. i have more energy and am very happy to see the scale numbers go down. I have not had any problems so far.  I pray everyone has a great week. hugs and kisses

Well,  it will soon be 3 mths since surgery. I have had some good days and not so good days. But, the good outnumber the bad. I have lost 52 lbs now and I feel better. I have more energy and I love getting into the smaller clothes. My husband and I walk every night together and he has lost 22 lbs so far. I can actually see my dimples again. I had a lady tell me that my smile was much bigger and I told her that it was that my face was smaller and my smile did not have to compete with as much face. I can fit into a 2x shirt!! I can hardly believe it. I have been taking my vitamins and B-12 shots. these are a must!! I feel I am a much better nurse and mom. I want to say Thank you to all who has supported me and prayed for me!!  I will try to post more later.  Hugs and kisses

Well, I had my surgery and everything went fine. I am so sore. But I know that this is for just a time. The hospital staff was wonderful and Dr. Baker was great. If you ask me right this second if  I would do it again, I would be 50/50. But , I know that will change. I hope everyone is doing great. Will post more later.

Well, Two days until the BIG day!  I have lost 8 lbs on the shakes. They were not that bad. I am getting nervous and excited if that is possible. I have been moved up a little I now have to be there at 9:00 am. I was thankful for that, less time to worry or be NPO. I thank all for the prayers they are appreciated and welcomed. I will try to do better and keep you all posted. hugs and kisses to all.

I am a mom of 2 great boys, 13 and 17. I have been married for 18 1/2 yrs, to my High school sweetheart. I have been heavy most of my life from the age of 10 and on. I look back at some of my pics and would LOVE to be that "Big" again. I have been praying about this for surgery for about 5 yrs. I am a HomeHealth nurse and really love my job. I work with wonderful ladies and have the BEST patients. I am ready to feel better and have more energy. so i have my surgery date and I am ready to begin my life. I know that this will be hard but well worth it. I see this as a tool to help me get healthy!!!   I pray the best for all!!!
