Joy, I'm watching the clock.. 2 hrs til you go into surgery! Many many blessings and prayers go out to you this day. You will be fine starting your new life. May the Lord bless you with a smooth surgery. May He guide the hands of your surgeon as only He can. May you be blessed with a speedy recovery. Lord, please surround Joy with an army of angels to protect her during her surgery. Diane

Joy, I'm so happy that you added me as a friend! You can never have too many! I'm praying for you that your surgery is scheduled soon - the wait can be endless! You have a very, very positive attitude and I'm sure you'll do just fine. I've really had no problems - other than the fact that those "old habits" bow their heads every once in a while and cause a little tummy upset. But what the heck? I've lost 101 pounds in 9 months. I still don't believe it myself. I guess I was in total denial about how much I really needed to lose. My only advice to you from this end is to exercise, exercise, exercise! I suppose I thought I didn't need to lose this much so I DIDN'T. And everything they tell you about hanging skin is sooo true! It's not terrible, but man, I hate to put shorts on! The inside of my thighs look like sand bags - yuck! I'm going to start now to see if I can correct some of it. Keep your fingers crossed! Let me know how you're doing and if you ever have any questions. I think I've been through it all (probably not...), but maybe I can give you some insight. Have a great night and an even better weekend! Mary
