Well I am two weeks away from my old vertical banded gastroplasty being revised to a RNY.  It has been a long time now, 13 years and I should have looked into this 10 years ago as the surgery never really did much other than make me throw food back up

Rny peeps. I am really freaked out by this dumping thing and have been told the only revisional surgery I can have is bypass. I'm ok with that but I really want to know realistic guidelines for avoiding dumping. I've read nothing over 10 grams of sugar

I am just wondering if this is a common request among surgeons in Alberta anyway.  Is there follow up services as well after if you have WLS in Alberta?  I guess it depends on the surgeon.  Please let me know your experiences!
