Just over 2 weeks out

May 10, 2014

Well, it's been just over 2 weeks since the procedure.  The hospitalization was tougher than anticipated and I was in there for 4 days instead of 1.5-2 days due to swelling and nausea/vomiting. They wouldn't release me until I could get a liter of fluid down over the course of a day.  I haven't figured out when I feel full... that's a tough part for me.  I am not sure when I am full until it's too late I'm end up feeling full in the esophagus and not in the stomach. I also wish that I had been given guidance on how many carbs to eat and fat grams.  I was given guidance on protein but nothing else.  That's tough to work with. I have found that I like Protidiet soups and cocoa, they make me happy and they are warm.  I'm always cold right now.  But without knowledge on how to balance the protein, carbs and fats... I feel like I could easily be out of control.   I know my calories are a lot less that they were previously, but I want to succeed. I want to hit my first goal of 200lbs (78lbs lost) by the end of this year.  And then aim for the next goal of 140 lbs (additional 60lbs lost) by the end of 2015.  I dont know if this is reasonable or not.   I'm feeling a little lost out here on my own.
