What started this idea of getting my surgery was a eye opener couple yrs back, my husbands cancer returned after 18 yrs of being cancer free is back & now at stage 4 my sweetheart isn't doing well & were working with the Chemo thing for the last few yrs he is a fighter will get better
. I realized I now have to work until near 70 OH MY!!!! I thought if I am falling apart now how will I be at 65-70??? I prayed for answer about how to cope with life & getting around easier, I asked my Dr about Bariatric surgery he said I would be a good canidate and here I am!. I pray my husband will support me and understand why I need to do this (I feel he is afraid for too much more change with our lifes and is hard to get %100 support) My goal is to wake up and start moving and taking care of our household with more comfort & less pain. I have been peeking in and out of this board for awhile but I am finally getting up the nerve to get in and start asking more questions and learn from all who are pre-op & post op.
