Well, it has been a long time since I have updated here.. very bad I know.. I will try to add some pics.. On January 5 of this year(2010) I added a very rigorous exercise routine 4 times a week Monday through Thursday for I hour. It is called Jazzercise, and at first it was hard, but now I really LOVE it. It has become part of my nighttime routine. I have even added an additional night , Sunday at 4:30 p.m.    My weight is down to 345. I want to get down to about 280 in December 2010. I think that is realistic. Summers are really easy for me to lose weight, and I want to keep it off this time.!

My name is Heather. I live in Topeka , Kansas. My weight is right now 370 pounds. Waaay too much. I started this journey for bariatric surgery some 2 years ago, but as of November 2 of this year, that is when I started my pre-op diet. I started it two weeks earlier than the doctor told me to(with dr 's ok) . I have lost 8 pounds this month( starting weight was 378) and I have kept at it since then. It is a special diabetic preop diet that is very restrictive and yes, I do get hungry. My body is getting used to not having so much food. My food weaknesses are : Bread, cheese, and fast food. I have completely eliminated all of them from my life. I simply do not need them anymore. I can't have just one sliced of bread, I have to have 6. I can't have just one ounce of grated cheese, I have to have half a pound. And I used to LOVE hamburgers with mustard and tomatos and those baked potatos with chili and cheese from Wendy's! I can't have those anymore. No more. I have to thank both of my parents for their help. They are paying for most of my surgery. I could not do this without their help. They have saved my life.
