Hello! 
My name is Joy and I am the 36 year old mother to 2 daughters, ages 9 and 4. I have been married for 11 years to the love of my life.
I began gaining weight my senior year in high school. With the birth of 2 children came even more weight. My short stature cannot take it anymore!! 
I suffer from constant joint, knee and back pain. Two years ago, I lost 86 lbs. on a Metabolic diet and as soon as I stopped the diet I gained it all back. I feel like the Lap Band is the right choice for me. I welcome any comments or suggestions from people that have been through what I am getting ready to go through. I am very excited, but also nervous, about the surgery!!
