23 days.. 3 weeks post-op

Oct 29, 2015

October 29th 2015.. I am 3 weeks post-op. I feel really good. I am on the "baby food" stage of my program. I eat greek yogurt, eggs and protein shakes mostly. I had some mashed potatoes one day and a few mashed up meatballs at a work luncheon, but mainly I stick to yogurt, eggs and shakes. I use Preimer Protein, because it's the highest amount of protein I could find, 30g. I know that if I drink two a day I have at least met my 60-80 grams. I however have had a hard time getting in all my water. I bought a 20oz water bottle, so I make sure I drink at least one whole bottle while I am at work. However; my problem is when I get home, I am never hungry or thirtsy and when I force myself to drink or eat I just don't feel well. I know I need to get my water in though and I am afraid that this will cause me to stall.

I lost about 56 lbs before my surgery. I had a 6 month wait time, supervised with the nutritionist, due to insurance. Since my surgery I have lost about 28 more lbs. however; this week.. my scale told me I gained 4 lbs! OMG! I of course did some research before I flipped out.. and read other peoples posts and all about the 3 week stall. I did just get over my TOM, so I add that to my struggle. I just hope that I am doing all the right things and not messing this up. It's hard.. and although I know what I need to do, and I do my best to get it done.. it's still in the back of your head.. what if this doesnt work for me.. I would hate to ever think that it wouldn't. I know.. I am only 3 weeks out.. and this takes time. I know that there are stalls and I know that I still have a long road ahead of me. I just needed to put it down in writing to make myself believe it more.. if this makes sense.

I've got this!! Cyas in a week!!
