Happy 6th Anniversary!!  It was 6 years ago this month that I had my surgery.  I have maintained my weight at 140 lbs, give or take 2-3 lbs.  I still wear size 6/small clothing.  Although form fitting clothes look better in an 8.  I walk and ride my recumbant bike for exercise.  I still drink my quart of skim milk almost every day for breakfast.  It gets me half my protein needs for the day, and calcium also.  I just am not a breakfast eater, so drinking it is more pleasing to me.  I eat anything I want or desire, including chocolate or other treats.  I still occasionally have problems like taking 2-3 bites of food and I'm done for that meal; or other times when I can eat a whole meal and not get full!  I rarely vomit or have diarrhea any more.  Usually if a food has hidden high fat content, that can make me sick (think hash browns, etc.).  I haven't had any plastic surgery yet, I just am too busy to do it!!  I got a new job marketing for a Hospice and that is a blast!  I know I wouldn't have the confidence for this job if I hadn't lost 160 lbs!   The only health issues I have had over these 6 years is low iron and low Vitamin D.  Both can be improved with supplements.   I take my vitamins, B complex and Calcium tabs every day.  I also give myself Vit B12 shots once per month.  If anyone would like to chat about the surgery or afterwards, please feel free to contact me.  Wishing all of you good luck in your adventure with WLS!
