I'm 1 year out and feeling great!

Sep 21, 2009

I can't believe it has been a year.  A very exciting year!  I reached my goal at 10 months and have dropped a little more since then due to an unexpected appendectomy on August 25th.  I have gone from wearing a tight size 20 to a 4.  I have lost 88 inches off of this body.  I have truly lost another human being!  I am now 11 pounds below my goal (124) and I am trying to be okay with that fact.  I had gained back up to 130.5 by eating cookies and cake (yes I can tolerate sugar in small quantities) and then I woke up!  That is how I got into trouble in the first place.  I started eating healthy foods again and dropped those 4  pounds plus 2 more.  I weighed this same thing for years in my 20's.  Maybe this is where my weight is suppose to be.  I just need to learn not to take to heart other peoples opinion of my weight.  It doesn't matter what "they" think.  It is what makes me happy!  I have preached compliance, compliance, compliance and I have to stick to that as well.  That is how we are all going to be successful!  I thank everyone again for your supportive words over the past year and I hope to continue to do a blog once a month.  That will help keep me dedicated to this life long journey.
