He has also been doing this for many years and hasn't lost a patient. rnWell, he got me thru the surgery and his outside handi-work looks fine. I had no leaks after having my upper GI. He likes to ask you numerous times why should we not have real food for the 1st two weeks. Just tell him we don't want to bust out our pouch-he's satisfied. "
"I had a lot of trouble getting nurses to respond to me. I am a quiet person, do not complain. I should have been an ideal patient. Maybe that's why they chose to take their time changing my IV bag, getting me pain meds & gas meds. I had one nurse that was very caring. Her name was Mandy Lu. I liked her a lot.
Check out time was supposed to be 11am. My dr released me at 10:30. When I asked the nurse 2 hrs later when I was going to be discharged from the hospital, she acted like she was surprised that I wanted to leave. She also acted like it was a lot of trouble to get me discharged. I didn't understand that at all. Did they expect me to stay forever? I finally got to leave the hospital around 1:30."
