on 8/8/08....I am so happy for her!!

Off track....feeling sad.  Trying to get my motivation back and hungry all the time.

 

I wore a new size 16 suit to work the other day.  I said....I WORE A SIZE 16!  Down about 110 lbs and feeling great.  Haven't lost but the same 3 lbs over and over again since October 2007 and a little frustrated but I feel great.  I have so much more energy, sleep better (no apnea), healthier (EVERYONE in my office has been sick EXCEPT me), and in general just feel more confident.  I notice that people look me in the eye now, instead of the "fat girl look" I used to get. Interesting....since the only thing that's changed about me is my appearance.  The world is not a fair place!

...for my husband who would do anything in the world to make me happy, and is having his WLS next week

...for my niece who has stuck by me and has cheered me on every step of the way.  I love her like a daughter/sister/friend.

...for this surgery, because without it I wouldn't feel like I am finally living.

But only Erin knows why!!!

I have joined the labor day mini challenge and set a goal of 100 lbs lost.  I have 58 days and 26 lbs to go.  Will I make it????

1) Why are my armpits caved in?  How do you shave "caved in" armpits?

2) Why do I hear a flapping sound when I move my arms? It's bat wings!

3) When I lay down, is it normal to have a nipple under each armpit?

4) My underwear is falling off!  It's almost like the elastic is shot.

5) I can breathe AND tie my shoes.....AT THE SAME TIME!

6) i don't mind parking far away from stores, work, etc because I can walk without getting out of breath!

I changed clothes 3 times yesterday before I went to work!  I haven't done that since high school.  I can't find anything that fits....hahaha.....and it's not cuz stuff is too tight....it's because MY CLOTHES ARE TOO BIG!!  yipee!!

I hit my little mini birthday goal of 60 lbs on 5/23/07!!  Yipee for me!

Rich was approved for surgery on May 17, 2007.  He will probably not have it done until August or September though, since summer is so busy at work for him.  Pretty exciting!
