Surgery Approved and scheduled!!!!

Hello everyone!

I am new to the boards and am so excited to say that I have received my acceptance letter for surgery and have been scheduled for July 2, 2010!!! 

I thought about this suregery for over a year and finally took the steps toward it in late March.  I am looking forward to sharing my journey with you all. 

I am having a little trouble making the break from all of my comfort foods but have drastically cut them down and I have been off soda now for 6weeks.  I have greatly reduced my intake of "junk"  and am going on a modified Atkins diet 3 weeks prior to surgery as suggested by my physician to help shrink my liver.  I appreciate any words of wisdom you may have for me and I would love some pen pals!  Have a great day everyone!
