SO MUCH PAIN!!

Ok, so I probably pushed the envelope coming back to work so soon - surgery was11-14-11, today is 11-21-11.  Never did I imagine the pain would be so bad.  I mean - really bad.
Turns out, Dr. Keith had to lengthen my small intestine, the first surgeon left it only 8cm long?!  What the heck??
And lots and lots of scar tissue, so he had to cut me open!

The pain med he prescribed isn't working.  I have called to office to see if they will call something else out. Boy I hope so!!

I haven't eaten much since the surgery- but mainly because of the pain, However, I have noticed that while the portions need to be smaller, I am not having the hard time I thought I would with eating.  He didn't make any changes to my pouch, just made the opening smaller.

He did say though that lengthening the sm intestine alone with cause weight gain!  Here's hoping.
