Day 2 completed:

    Day 2 of the C25K + 2.29 walk to total 4 miles for the day, completed last night. I'm sore, but pleased with myself for finishing. I wanted to quit at 3 miles.... it would have been sooo easy too. I had almost talked myself into quittng at 3 miles and then I decided that I had 1/4 mile left in me....so I took it 1/4 of a mile at a time until I completed mile 4.
    My daughter also told me to google Plank exercises and try a few of them. I had my son ( high schoolfootball player who is recovering from knee surgery) make sure I was holding the right position  and did a few of them. WOW!! my tummy muscles were already complaining about the running on the treadmill, so they are definitely not happy with me this morning. 

    Today I plan to do a 2 mile WALK at 3mph on treadmill AND some kind of strength exercises... Plank and Burpees maybe??? I'll talk to my son to see what kind of torture ideas he has for me. Plus I want to do some yoga for stretching... We will see how much I can fit in today... I think that I can get it all, IF I'm realistic and only set a 30 minute goal for yoga and 10 minutes each to the other 2 strength exercises. That should equal 90 minutes total for the day.
    I'll come back tonight or tomorrow and report how much I actually did.

I did NOTHING today. I had so much on my plate that I gave myself an excuse not to exercise. I'm holding myself accountable by coming here and being honest with the world about it.
