I just wanted to thank everyone for their support. It means a lot. It's been almost a month since surgery and I feel great. I lost 28 lbs so far and I haven't had any nausea r vomiting luckily. I realized that I can eat just about anything but that I feel like crap if I eat anything heavy like beef, anything at all greasy, creamy sauces or soups, and dairy. I can tolerate some dairy but not milk. Even the Lactaid is rough to drink on it's own. I am just eating light meals mostly fruits and veggfies and salads with some grilled chicken and fish thrown in. I was frustrated for a few days because I "plateaued" for more than a week and even went up 2 lbs. But then I though about it and realized no matter what I do right now, I will lose weight regardless and just do what I'm supposed and let natire, so to speak, take it's course. anyway, thanks again for you support and wishes and I would love to keep in touch with you. I hope you ar all dong well and having much success with your weight loss. Eileen, I will be going to the support meetings for Dr. Gritsus, I know he has one this Thursday, June 16th, hopefully I'll see you there. Everyone else, you have my eamil so please keep in touch. Congrats on your date, and a speedy recovery following surgery. You will gain the ability to do so many wonderful things, as you loose the weight. :D

Patricia...Good luck on your surgery! I had Dr. Gritsus also, and he and Dean are the BEST. I will say a prayer for you, and hope I will see you at the support group meetings...

~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. ~~~~ May God give you courage, strength and guidance throughout your new journey. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Prayers that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands and you have a speedy recovery. . Remember your not alone in this journey, many of us have been down this road, we are here to offer love and support. Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side.
